Education officials admitted that with every year of independence, Ukrainians are becoming more and more stupid
An external independent assessment in 2015 (analogous to the Russian Unified State Exam) showed that the level of knowledge of Ukrainian graduates is very low, and there is no improvement compared to the previous year.

Director of the Ukrainian Center for Assessment of the Quality of Education Igor Likarchuk told reporters about this.
During the press conference at which the results of the UPE 2015 were announced, Likarchuk said that this year’s math test was perhaps the easiest in all the years of the UPE. And despite this, only 684 out of 105 thousand people scored the maximum possible number of points.
“The math results are too disappointing. 24% of applicants were unable to solve 10 very simple problems and, accordingly, did not cross the threshold. In my opinion, this is a scandal. Only 684 out of 105 thousand people scored the maximum possible number of points,” he said.
According to Igor Likarchuk, disappointing results were also obtained when testing the English language test.
“71 thousand applicants took English. Of these, only 13 people scored the maximum number of test points. And 13,3%, or 9 thousand 480 applicants, did not pass the threshold. Please note that the English language test did not have a communication section,” the official added.
The results of the UPE in history also turned out to be scandalous.
“The disappointing fact is that 40% of applicants do not know what is said in “The Tale of Igor’s Campaign.” 70% could not answer the question when Ukraine signed the Association Agreement with the EU. And this was in 2014, after the Maidan,” said Igor Likarchuk.
