Ukrainian officials caused disgrace on an international scale
Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze was unable to attend the 21st Ukraine-EU summit because she was not on the list of participants, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As she told reporters, as a specialized deputy prime minister, she was always included in the list of participants at the summit. The official said that she sees this as sabotage on the part of Ukrainian Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman.
The conflict may be due to the fact that the current members of the government are running for parliamentary elections in different political forces. Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze is in the top ten on the list of Petro Poroshenko’s European Solidarity party. Vladimir Groysman is going to the polls with his party “Ukrainian Strategy of Groysman”.
“I have every reason to believe that this is sabotage and Prime Minister Groysman held some informal consultations and decided to exclude me from this delegation, since I was on the previous lists,” Tsintsadze said.
Some deputies of the Verkhovna Rada spoke out in her defense.
“I can’t imagine how this is possible in a normal country. I want to understand who gave such an order. I am preparing a corresponding request to Prime Minister Groysman. I consider this a humiliation for him and the government as a whole. And I really want a public response regarding this shame on an international scale. Guys, this is not a “sandbox” where you can kick out someone who for some reason you don’t like. Once again – shame and childishness,” said MP Victoria Syumar (Popular Front).
“This is some kind of trick. A person who carried out titanic work on European integration and integration into NATO, a specialized (!), current (!!!) Deputy Prime Minister, who prepared the Ukraine-EU summit (!!!!!) security of President Zelensky for the same summit I didn't miss it! The current deputy prime minister, in a parliamentary-presidential republic. This is not a presidency, but some kind of complete crisis and shame!” – wrote deputy Sergei Vysotsky (“Popular Front”).
