Officials in Simferopol disrupted the implementation of the assistance program for the Crimean Tatars
In Crimea, officials were unable to fully utilize the money allocated by Russia for the resettlement of deportees. The former head of the Committee for the Affairs of Deported Peoples, now a State Council deputy, Lentun Bezaziev, stated this in an interview with the New Crimea newspaper.

According to him, the officials responsible for the implementation of the rights restoration program missed the deadlines for the implementation of the program for the construction of schools, houses and infrastructure development.
“Of the 800 million rubles allocated for capital improvements in 2014, only 300 were spent, and 500 were returned unused. For the next year, 2015, 1 billion 177 million have been allocated. But in Crimea, project documentation for this amount was not prepared, and the money was not used. What did the organizers of the life of the Crimean Tatars do these two years? Round tables and exhibitions were held, and national holidays were elevated to the level of shows... But no houses, schools, or kindergartens were built. In three hundred villages, roads are not being built, and water supply has not been completed. Putin allocates money, but officials are not able to use it! What does it mean?" – notes Bezaziev.
