The acting director announced this at a briefing on Tuesday. Governor of Sevastopol Sergei Menyailo.
According to him, after October 9 a new government of Sevastopol will be formed.
“The government will employ a maximum of 10-12 people and even less, the number of deputies will be reduced,” the mayor noted.
“There will be local councils, municipalities, so-called city managers, and there will be a government - with a clear division of functions that do not overlap,” he listed three future levels of city government.
At the same time, Menyailo noted that the power structure of Sevastopol, in addition to the government itself, also includes executive authorities under the government, through which it performs its functions. As well as federal executive authorities, whose powers have been assumed by the government.
“The governing bodies will be minimally necessary and self-sufficient. We have the largest number in the social protection, education and housing and communal services agencies,” the official said.
He compared the number of officials in Sevastopol under the Ukrainian and Russian authorities.
“The state administration staff (SSSA) was more than 600 people, plus 150 people in the districts. Now 18-20 people will remain in the districts,” emphasized Sergei Menyailo.
