Kyiv, February 19 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – As of 9.00 Wednesday, the number of deaths during the riots in Kyiv reached 25 people.

Among the dead is a reporter for the Vesti publication, a native Kiev resident Vyacheslav Veremiy, who was shot in a taxi by unknown men in helmets and black masks who stopped and threw Molotov cocktails at the car. The journalist's companion, an IT specialist, and a taxi driver were severely beaten. The reporter died from a bullet wound to the chest.

Also, four soldiers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs died in the department’s hospital, 13 dead were taken to the Kiev City Clinical Bureau of Forensic Medicine.

The victims of the confrontation were 2 traffic police officers who were killed at night in the Svyatoshinsky district while pursuing a car from which fire was opened.
