Thus, 43% of respondents believe that Western sanctions will become an incentive for reforms in Russia that will make the country stronger. Another 9% of survey participants believe that the initiators of sanctions against the Russian Federation will rot on their own.
22% of readers believe that the confrontation between Russia and the West will drag on for many years, 7% are inclined to the most pessimistic scenario - the beginning of the Third World War.
14% of respondents predict that sanctions will only anger Vladimir Putin, and he will carry out the division of Ukraine. And 6% of respondents, on the contrary, believe that this story will end sadly for the Russian government - Putin will be overthrown, and Crimea and Donbass will return to the control of Ukraine.
The survey was conducted from December 23 to 26, and 3246 PolitNavigator visitors took part in it.
