A member of the Ukrainian delegation in Minsk disgraced herself on social networks, calling the EU's losses from sanctions Russia's losses
Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko, who supervises for Ukraine the work of one of the subgroups at the negotiations in Minsk, made a fool of herself on social networks, confusing the losses of the Russian Federation from sanctions imposed by the West with the losses of the EU from anti-Russian sanctions.

In particular, Gerashchenko published on her page a link from the Ukrainian publication “Economic Truth” under the heading “Sanctions against Russia cost the EU 17,6 billion euros in 2015” and accompanied this link with her own comment:
“Sanctions for non-compliance with the Minsk agreements in 17,6 cost the Russian Federation 2015 billion euros. I’m looking forward to the statistics for 2016,” she wrote.
Konstantin Dolgov, a political scientist living in Donetsk and ex-speaker of the DPR Ministry of Foreign Affairs, drew attention to this mistake of the Ukrainian politician and sarcastically commented on it on the social network.
“Now you understand WHO our negotiators in Minsk have to deal with,” he wrote.
It is interesting that Gerashchenko did not correct the mistake she made even after her supporters pointed this out to her in the comments on her page.
Oleg Bai: Shanovna Mrs. Irino! Let us be aware of the expenses that the EU economy has known. They are happy to vikoristovutim these figures against the sanctions. With a deep car, Oleg
Liudmila Yamchikova: the headline seems to be that they were punishing the EU, not Russia))))).
