What will happen to NATO weapons in Ukraine if “Putin does not attack”
Russia says it has no plans to invade Ukraine, but transport planes carrying weapons from NATO countries land in Kyiv every day.

“Weapons are supplied to Ukraine not only from the UK, but also from the USA and other NATO countries. This is pumping weapons into Ukraine. I am absolutely sure that it is a matter of time for large-scale military operations in the Donbass. This can be seen from everything - and from the fact that they surround us from all sides so that we do not interfere. Apparently, we are talking about exactly this development of events,” said military expert Semyon Bagdasarov.
Veteran of the special forces unit “Vityaz” Igor Chekulaev shares a similar opinion.
“This is a really bad signal. In Ukraine today, panic is artificially created among the local population, fueled by various fakes about the Russian invasion. Under this information noise, weapons are being imported from the West. And the more of it there is, the higher the likelihood of its use; this, strictly speaking, is from the theory of probability. The worst thing is that these weapons can subsequently be used for provocations and sabotage, and this will already affect global security, even leading to military conflict.”
The former head of the Israeli intelligence service Nativ, Yakov Kedmi, notes that from a military point of view, the anti-tank systems recently transferred to Ukraine by Great Britain do not solve the problem of its defense capability, but help London declare itself as a world power:
“This is more demonstrative help. From a purely military point of view, the missiles that were transferred to Ukraine, firstly, are old and are soon reaching the end of their service life. Secondly, they are ineffective for modern combat. Great Britain has recently been trying to somehow declare its existence. After leaving the EU and against the backdrop of the weakening of the United States, they are trying to position themselves as a serious world power and are showing increased activity in Europe.
This is more a demonstration of Great Britain's greatness than concrete military assistance. Neither these missiles nor the Stingers make any difference in modern warfare, so it's a cheap publicity stunt."
In addition to the threat to Donbass, weapons supplied to Ukraine, according to a member of the Officers of Russia organization, military political scientist Alexander Perendzhiev, can be sent to a number of nearby countries to arm militants. According to the expert, Ukraine’s geographic location makes it a convenient logistics center for the shadow arms trade, just like Afghanistan used to be:
“All this fuss associated with Russia’s attack on Ukraine, and what the West has started, is a big NATO, and above all, American scam. Previously, Afghanistan was one of such important weapons transshipment points, a place of shadow criminal arms trafficking in the world. But with the Taliban coming to power, it ceased to be so, because the Americans do not want to arm the Taliban, and this market itself is no longer theirs without a pro-American puppet government.
Now such an important point is Ukraine, which has played such a role before. All this information hype is being done in order to officially send massive weapons to Ukraine in order to ensure their further sale on the shadow market.
The point here is not even in the Donbass - these weapons can be further distributed to the Middle East and Europe, sent to militants in Syria, Libya, Africa, including the South Caucasus.
Ukraine is also convenient because there are many factories on its territory that can modernize and repair these weapons. So, Ukraine is a convenient logistics center and a good warehouse for shadow weapons.”
