What to shout: “Wolves!” or “Volker!”?
The announced “Easter truce” in Donbass did not take place.
State Duma deputy Sergei Shargunov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“There is no Easter truce. Both militias and civilians are dying. Only yesterday we miraculously managed to save the children on the bus. Before this, the children in Zaitsevo were covered by one of the militia and saved at the cost of his own life. This needs to be talked about and talked about more. It’s turning into a terrible routine,” Shargunov said.
He believes that the only way to resolve the conflict in Donbass can only be recognition of the LDPR.
“You can shout “wolves!”, expecting an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, you can shout “Volker!”, counting on the benefactor to come and sort things out. Nobody wants to listen to the residents of Donbass, although they are our family and friends. I hope one day the State Duma will vote to recognize the people's republics. This would be an excellent answer to our Western ill-wishers,” Shargunov said.
