What did Yatsenyuk do by abolishing Soviet standards in Ukraine?
In Ukraine, Soviet quality standards were abolished, but European standards were never introduced.

Deputy Director of the Scientific and Technical Center “Psyche” Gennady Ryabtsev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“The former Cabinet of the “outstanding” Ukrainian politician Arseniy Petrovich Yatsenyuk abolished all Soviet standards,” the expert emphasized. – In addition to these standards, he also abolished sanitary rules, fire safety requirements, and labor protection standards. Okay, we're going to Europe. But, having abolished Soviet standards, this Cabinet of Ministers did not introduce European standards in Ukraine, as did, for example, our neighbor, whom everyone scolds and says that he is a dictator there. But Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko introduced a huge number of different European norms and rules, simply adding the state standard of Belarus before the EN mark. What’s stopping us from doing this?”
“Why don’t we now have rules and regulations that apply not only to the location of gas filling stations? “We don’t have any regulations that relate to construction,” Ryabtsev pointed out. “And the safety of all 30-50-story buildings that are being built is not controlled by anyone. For such things, for the abolition of these Soviet standards, for the lack of market oversight bodies, current and former officials should be asked. But no one pays attention to this, because everyone only sees the consequences - the gas station exploded, the house collapsed, prices went up.”
