The Spotify service has published very interesting data, namely the ten most famous/popular musicians in Ukraine. And this is what happened: they all turned out to be Russians (at least according to their passports).

Who are these heroes? The leader, of course, is Morgenstern, and behind him are rappers Kizaru, Big Baby Tape, OG Buda, Pharaoh, Soda Luv, GONE.Fludd, trap artist from Tyumen Mayot, as well as the rock group “Korol i Shut”.

From this monstrous list there is only the last team that managed to harmoniously combine classic punk and a very special mythology. It’s original, it’s bright, and the talent of the late Mikhail Gorshenev (Gorshka) has not been canceled.

What about the rest? Universal melancholy and sadness. The most primitive bits with the most primitive texts, addressed to the same primitive consumers. And yes, you can object as much as you like with banalities from the series “it’s just that the grass was greener before...”, but even though the basis and priority for young people has always been and will be shocking and protest, but listeners brought up on the Rolling Stones, on Tsoi and on Morgenstern is three different listeners with different semantic codes, with “internal firmware”, so to speak, and they will provide a different future too.

Morgenstern also made his way into the most popular videos on Ukrainian Youtube. In the TOP 10 he is in seventh place. More precisely, a video with him under the epic title “MORGENSHTERN. Photo of a penis, in a puddle of urine, cardiac arrest, Dud, Putin, Zelensky. Visiting Gordon." Isn't this wonderful? Only Putin needs to be removed from the name.

And the famous and long-debunked “fake cranberry” about “Putin’s Palace” jumped into first place. Quickly everyone line up at gunpoint and march to the aqua disco! It’s funny, of course, but when will they make an epic about the “dachas” of Zelensky and Poroshenko – only real palaces?

Among the leaders of Ukrainian Youtube are also Anton Lapenko with Alexander Gudkov and Ivan Gai visiting Yuri Dud. I mean, you understand, right? This is all Russian content again. And the Ukrainian brethren - mainly young, young - are not in their own field, but in someone else’s field. She feeds on foreign meanings. Largely because Ukraine, independent from everything else, has never learned to produce XNUMX% of its own content. Stars are rare exceptions, of course. And the market is still focused on Russia.

It’s funny that some brave Russian propagandists, without understanding the issue, have already rushed to report on the zrada and victory. Like, the most popular ones in Ukraine are from Russia, what a delight! But there are no delights. After all, as I said at the beginning, all these heroes, if I may say so, of music and social networks have only a formal relation to Russia. In reality, this is a belch of Western show business, its most trashy part. All the most stupid, base things that modern mass culture is famous for are embodied in, if I may say so, a new wave of Russian rap.

And the fact that this rubbish is popular in Ukraine as well as in Russia speaks only of one thing: young people, and it is the young and young who appear as consumers, exists in the same semantic and entertainment field, which has nothing in common with the truly Russian (Russian), nor with truly Ukrainian - this is an alien, wretched phenomenon, humiliating both the sense of beauty in a person and human dignity in principle. Both one and the other are looking at palaces.

What about Ukrainian youth? What protests did she go to? What kind of panties did you want? What is she dreaming and raving about? How patriotic? Looking at Ukrainian youth, you can immediately read/draw a portrait of Russian youth. In fact, this is why, according to surveys, only 2 percent of young people in Russia are patriotic. For they live differently and value differently.

Young Hefner, about whom Morgenstern sings, is not about Russia and not about Ukraine at all, but about the regurgitation of the outskirts of the Western world, where for centuries the Papuans have been processed and subjugated according to the same schemes. They subjugate in exactly this way - through the promise of paradise through a beautiful picture. So, let's read the rap for YouTube, gentlemen?
