Thus, senior researcher at the Center for Post-Soviet Studies at IMEMO Stanislav Pritchin believes that Pashinyan went through the most difficult period - the first days after the conclusion of the agreement.

“The Prime Minister is responsible for the political and military defeat. In the early days, even his whereabouts were unknown. But now it’s hard to imagine him leaving. We see that Pashinyan maneuvers quite skillfully - looking for new allies, gaining time, reformatting the agenda. Martial law is also in his favor, which the authorities can extend further,” Pritchin said.

But political scientist Artur Ataev believes that Pashinyan will not retain power.

“The ranks of his party are thinning, there is discord in his immediate circle, the economy is collapsing. Relatives of the dead and missing blame the current authorities for the losses. Dissatisfaction among representatives of the diaspora is growing.

The only question is when the resignation will take place. It is likely that the protest movement in Armenia will be revived after the establishment of a new status quo in the region - after the transfer of territories to Azerbaijan and the strengthening of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. I assume that the internal political crisis will worsen in December,” says Atayev.

Let us recall that the ceasefire agreement was signed through the mediation of Moscow after the Armenians were on the verge of complete military defeat due to the successful offensive of the Azerbaijani army.

As PolitNavigator reported, Russian brigade will leave for Karabakh, forcing Georgia to peace.
