What Poroshenko secretly offered to Moscow. Information from Tymoshenko's headquarters
Petro Poroshenko is desperately bargaining for his second presidential term with all the major foreign policy players.
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko, who works for Yulia Tymoshenko’s headquarters, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The President is making interesting political steps. He says to Putin: you help me once and I will push through the Minsk agreements, Medvedchuk will receive the Donetsk region as a curator. He tells the Americans: if you don’t interfere, I will create an anti-corruption court and install whoever you want as prime minister. Merkel, he says: don’t worry, I won’t incite people against Nord Stream, but I will say that this is your success,” Nebozhenko said.
He believes that all these efforts are destructive for Ukraine.
“He is fighting desperately for his second term. These steps are destroying Ukraine, but could bring Poroshenko back to power. The authorities’ fierce resistance to public opinion creates the feeling that Poroshenko is conducting an election campaign in an empty country, where there are no voters, observers, or opposition,” Nebozhenko said.
