What is Ukraine hiding about Malaysian Boeing?
The investigation into the causes of the crash of a Malaysian Boeing in the skies of Donbass, which has been going on for more than a year, still raises many questions, both in terms of its duration and in terms of objectivity and professionalism, writes Moskovsky Komsomolets.

The publication notes that nothing is still known about the conduct of examinations, including the most important metallurgical examination, which can be used to accurately determine the type of weapon that hit the Malaysian Boeing, as well as the complete laying out of the wreckage of the aircraft.
Also, the public was not familiarized with the data from the Ukrainian side.
“These are flight plans of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense aviation on the day of the Boeing’s death, audio recordings of conversations between dispatchers and flight directors of Ukraerorukh and flight control command posts of the Ministry of Defense; records of all external negotiations received by Ukraerorukh from civilians and government officials, explanatory notes from all Aerorukh dispatchers and combat aviation pilots of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, information on the consumption of Ukrainian surface-to-air and air-to-air missiles,” the newspaper clarifies.
At the same time, the publication draws attention to the fact that Russia became the only country that, already on the third day after the crash, published all the data at its disposal on the disaster, including space photography, which neither the United States, nor Ukraine, nor European countries, which also , like Russia, monitored the territory where the tragedy occurred, but have not yet presented it. Also, specialists from Russia actually do not have access to the materials of the international investigation.
In addition, experts wonder why the Security Council of the Netherlands was involved in preparing the report.
“Representatives of the World Flight Safety Foundation Valery Shelkovnikov and Sergei Melnichenko in an interview with MK noted: The Netherlands is neither the state of registration of the destroyed Boeing nor the state of the operator - that is Malaysia,” the publication notes. – Previously, plane crashes of a similar scale were investigated under the auspices of ICAO - the International Civil Aviation Organization (this is the situation with the Korean Boeing shot down over the territory of the USSR in 1983, and with the Libyan passenger plane that was destroyed by the Israelis), but in the case of the Boeing, shot down over Ukraine, the West assigned ICAO only a more than modest advisory role.”
