What happened after the murder of Zakharchenko: Testimony of an adviser to the deceased head of the DPR
There was panic in Moscow on the day of the murder of Alexander Zakharchenko. Advisor to the deceased head of the DPR, Alexander Kazakov, spoke about this on Mediametrics radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am convinced that in Moscow, which is our partner, because without Russia’s help we simply would not exist, on the evening of August 31 there was the same situation as ours. That evening everyone gathered, it couldn’t have been any other way, otherwise Russia would have collapsed if it had been otherwise. This is force majeure, vacations, days off, everything is cancelled, everyone gets together and makes decisions. We behaved the same way as in Russia. This is normal and natural, but Russia behaved the same way. In the evening of that day, everyone was in place, and, most importantly, we maintained order in the Republic,” said Kazakov.
According to Kazakov, the murder of Zakharchenko also caused panic in the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“They were hysterical. At first we thought that was it, now there would be a war. There were movements of battalion-tank groups, airplanes, helicopters, and they themselves were scared. They thought they were finished. They know that we can do this, thanks, among other things, to Timofeev, our defense industry, our "Cheburashka","Snowflakes", they know what could have been. They tried it on themselves, when they got it for Mamaia. And then panic began. With them, not with us,” said Kazakov.
