What are you saying, aunts, do you want to broadcast to the Crimea?

On Tuesday, under the auspices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, another press conference was held in Kyiv on the topic of Ukraine’s reconquest of the information space and propaganda initiative in the Crimean and Donbass directions.

Judging by the fatness of the speakers and their concerned tone, somewhere in the depths of Ukrainian agitprop, an imperious hand twisted the tails of various peer talkers who regularly promote themselves in the media.

On Tuesday, under the auspices of the Ministry of Justice, another press conference was held in Kyiv dedicated to the topic of Ukraine’s reconquest...

Thus, two high-ranking members of the Majlis participated in the press conference - Emine Japarova from the Ministry of Justice and Gayana Yuksel, director of the QHA publication and Hayat radio. And also two prominent Crimean collaborators - member of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting Kostinsky and editor-in-chief of the RS project “Crimea.Brechalia” Vladimir Pritula.

There was a feeling that at least two functionaries came out in public with the goal of clearing themselves a little and justifying themselves. Apparently, the authorities in Kyiv who have ears have heard the recent revelations of the leader of the “Information Maidan” Pavel Bilonozhko and made organizational conclusions.

August 22 Bilonozhko in the presence of a representative of the State Special Communications Service of Ukraine and a telecommunications specialist told a terrible thing: the “separatists” in Donbass broadcast their TV and radio broadcasts 100 km deep Ukrainian territory, the same picture was recorded along the entire length of the Ukrainian-Russian border. As a result, in the Zaporozhye region and Sumy region the consciousness of the population is already changing and people are saying: “maybe it’s better with Russia?” And at this time, according to the Maidan activist, the National Security and Defense Council and Turchynov personally are engaged in PR and fraud instead of urgently sticking as many beam towers along the border as possible, tightening “jammers” and finally suppressing enemy broadcasting.

But Kostinsky, on his Facebook page, on the contrary, beamed with foal optimism and assured everyone that Ukrainian radio and television, broadcast from a new tower on the border with Crimea, completely clogged Russian broadcasting on the peninsula, and described the construction of the new PCT “Salt Lake” such as the defeat of Russia and severe material damage. At the same time, objective checks in the north of Crimea indicate that Kostinsky is wishful thinking, and Ukrainian content is not caught even close to the border.

Dzhaparova, opening the press conference, carefully touched upon precisely these problems of Ukrainian broadcasting to uncontrolled territories and for the first time spoke about jamming the signal from the opposite side and about insufficient efforts to promote Ukrainian propaganda in Crimea and the LDPR.

Speaking, on the one hand, about some successes (4 competitions were held and 12 frequencies were allocated, on which 7 radio stations are already operating and 10 more are preparing to broadcast), Japarova laments that the procedure for issuing licenses for temporary broadcasting for propaganda purposes is highly bureaucratic.

If you peel away the loyal husks of Kostinsky’s speech, it was strikingly different from his cheerful texts on social networks. It appears that the member of the National Council misled his colleagues and leadership, wishful thinking.

From Kostinsky’s new testimony it follows that in the border zone there is a shortage of Ukrainian broadcasting due to the loss of the PCT in Dzhankoy and Krasnoperekopsk. Now, it turns out, Ukraine needs to restore “information security” in the Crimean direction almost from scratch.

That is, it is not clear what Pan Kostinsky has been doing all this time, and his new brainchild - a 150-meter television tower on Chongar - is simply expensive scrap metal. And how he breathed, how he breathed...

The following statement by Kostinsky de facto indicates that the cause he serves is initially a failure. It turns out that Ukrainian TV channels and radio stations are in no hurry to participate in competitions and snatch up licenses for broadcasting to the north of Crimea.

Kostinsky suddenly realized that the waterless northern Crimea was a sparsely populated area, where towns and villages were scattered far from each other. Thus, the local target audience is of no interest to commercial media, and the Ukrainian state will not lift a finger to organize at least some of its own broadcasting at the expense of the budget.

The exceptions are the recently hatched radio “Crimea.Brechalia”, financed by the American “Radio Liberty”, and the Majlis radio “Hayat”, which also has external sources of funding and is aimed at brainwashing primarily the Crimean Tatars on the peninsula and adjacent areas of the Kherson region .

By the way, while the press conference was going on, Zrada approved in the first reading a bill to simplify the issuance of licenses for temporary broadcasting in the “ATO zone” and in the “annexed” Crimea. UkroSMI has already called this approval a breakthrough, behind which they see the conquest of the media space and revenge on the lost territories.

Actually, the central theme of the press conference was a strong desire to justify ourselves and announce the connection of two new radio points to the Chongar PCT. True, as the director of the QHA resource and Hayat radio, Gayana Yuksel, admitted, their mouthpiece, for a number of reasons, can only be listened to in the Kakhovsky district of the Kherson region, or, if desired, via the Internet.

“Svidomo” always have some unfinished credentials.

The speeches of Yuksel and Pritula, who had previously rarely appeared at press conferences, were no longer focused on problems and their solutions, but on stories about what interesting projects they have and why they might be of interest to at least someone.

Yuksel boasted about the stellar lineup of guests and presenters of Radio Hayat, and how the convergence of Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar topics is taking place on the radio she leads.

Pritula also shared his plans and talked about the terrible infringement of freedom of speech in Crimea, which is why their project with Radio Liberty is so in demand.

By the way, radio “Krym.Brehalii” was the only mouthpiece that managed to prove that it could at least be received in the north of the Simferopol region. As proof, a video was presented of some crypto-Banderist of an autoradio LCD panel with an indication of the frequency and a piece of radio transmission linked to a road sign on the highway.

But, judging by the story of Pritula himself, things are going very badly with the content of radio broadcasts. All that Radio Brehalia can offer its potential listeners is two programs of its own production and a vinaigrette from the broadcasts of the Russian and Ukrainian editions of Radio Liberty.

Pritula also boasted of “a large number of calls from Crimea.” Probably, his radio station is besieged by the famous Crimean women - “daughters of officers”, who, according to Dzhaparova, make up a third of the population of the peninsula.

In general, Dzhaparova, who was watching from the “Majlis” in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, seemed tireless and regularly interjected herself between the speeches of the speakers with reminders “Crimea is temporarily occupied and will definitely be returned to Ukraine.”

I really want to remind the eastern wife of the eastern wisdom she had forgotten: “no matter how many times you say “halva”, your mouth will not become sweeter.”

I don’t want to upset these evil parrots on the payroll, that their work is empty, wrong, and victory will not be theirs. In the best case, their regular listeners will be those two percent of renegades who voted “no” in the referendum on reunification, who were in the first rows to get Russian passports and line up for “maternal capital.”

No, it is clear that “Svidomo” live in an alternative reality of their own invention, but why should other people be considered mentally disabled?

Over the course of 22 years of peaceful “independence”, Ukraine has failed to create an attractive national state-building project, so will anyone now really buy into the sweet trills coming from the stinking and blazing garbage heap into which the ragulians have turned the country over the past three and a half years?

Words achieve their goal only when they are backed up by actions that can be seen and touched. Like the Crimean Bridge. Like the new ultra-modern airport terminal under construction in Simferopol. Like the revived industrial enterprises of Crimea. Like brand new comfortable buses and trolleybuses that replaced the old dilapidated barns that plied the cities and villages of the peninsula, exchanging four decades of hard labor.

To tell a big lie and shit in the ears of listeners in the hope of changing something is naive to the point of idiocy. Fortunately, all radios have a switch off button and a vernier for searching for more interesting and truthful sources of information.
