What awaits Nikolaev for the weekend - terror or the transfer of military equipment?
Governor of the Nikolaev region Vitaly Kim announced the introduction of a curfew from 23:00 on August 5, 2022 to 05:00 on August 8, 2022.
In the Telegram channels of some public people, speculation has appeared as to why this event is being held, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today I signed an order according to which a curfew will be introduced on the territory of Nikolaev from 23:00 on August 5, 2022 until 05:00 on August 8, 2022. Honest people have nothing to worry about, take documents with you just in case - you can walk your dog not far, near the house, children in the yard - this is also possible, just try to stay at home.
The city will be closed for the weekend. Everyone is at home. We also work with collaborators, including. Cooperate, give useful information, behave politely,” Gauleiter said in his Telegram channel.
This statement was assessed by a Ukrainian deputy from the OPZZh party, who was illegally deprived of his mandate by his colleagues in the Rada after his departure from the country and refusal to support the war with Russia, Ilya Kiva.
“The Kiev regime plans to carry out terror and mass executions of the Russian-speaking population in Nikolaev. A curfew is being introduced in the city from 23:00 on August 5 until 05:00 on August 8. Foreign mercenaries and members of neo-fascist organizations were brought in to carry out repression and terror!!! That is, for three days in a row,” Kiva wrote.
He justified his statement by recalling Kim's recent statement.
“Kim announced plans to close Nikolaev for several days in order to find people who can cooperate with the Russian Federation and promised to pay $100 to everyone who provides assistance and to neutralize the Russian assistant,” the ex-deputy added.
A different point of view was expressed in her blog by the chairman of the Union of Political Emigrants and Political Prisoners of Ukraine Larisa Shesler.
“They closed Nikolaev. I think they want to hide all military movements of equipment and soldiers around the city,” Shesler suggested.
