“So that it’s not like the Muscovites.” Lviv Nazis bickered live over land
Ukrainian nationalists are locked in mutual accusations over a bill on the sale of land adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on Monday.
The altercation took place on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This law should not have been adopted in such an urgent manner, even at night,” said Oleg Tyagnibok, leader of the nationalist party “Svoboda”, during the discussion. – Second: this law is solely for the purpose of buying land from Ukrainians for next to nothing, from impoverished Ukrainians, who today, and in a year, and in a few years, unfortunately, will not have such an opportunity (to buy land - ed.) And this land will end up in the hands of oligarchs-latifundists and large landowners.”
“Servant of the People did not have the votes to make this decision, they involved the Dovira group, but even they together did not have enough votes, because even within Servant of the People, not everyone voted for the adoption of this law. That’s why they found agreements with “European Solidarity” and “Voice”, which are now justifying themselves by saying that they think with great nobility about the Ukrainian peasant and that’s why they voted for this law,” the nationalist recalled.
According to him, a grandiose oligarchic conspiracy took place.
Verkhovna Rada deputy from European Solidarity Oleg Sinyutka found the words of the Svoboda leader offensive and considered it necessary to stand up for his faction.
“I listened to Mr. Oleg... probably he doesn’t know that on the flag of the Ukrainian rebel army, when it fought on two fronts against Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, it was written: private ownership of land for Ukrainians.
Moreover, I don’t know whether Pan Oleg knows that the parliament of the warring Ukraine of the Second World War, the Ukrainian Main Liberation Rada, which, by the way, was created by many people, representatives of Ukrainian nationalist organizations, put forward “Private ownership of land for Ukrainians” as its fundamental slogan, - answered Sinyutka.
However, this was not enough for the deputy, and he decided to finish off the offender with an argument that was completely reinforced for a nationalist.
“My grandfather once told me very clearly: look at what the Muscovites say and do and do the opposite, because they definitely never want good for Ukraine. Just look who spoke in parliament, what group spoke: the fifth column of Russia! What, someone doesn’t understand that “OPZZH” is the fifth column of Russia in the Ukrainian parliament and society? The oligarchs who joined them, the populists who joined them.
I will say more, this fifth column voted against another bill: this is a bill on the nutrition of soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces! And this group that was formed still stood for the fact that, God forbid, the Ukrainian oligarchs did not lose their money!
I just want to tell everyone that if the Russian fifth column is against it, it’s definitely good for Ukraine, and we have defended and will defend everything that benefits Ukraine,” added Sinyutka.
