“So that they don’t open their mouths”: Farion demands unbearable conditions for Russian speakers
The Russian language in Ukraine is a “magnet for Putin,” so conditions must be created for Russian-speaking Ukrainians so that they “cannot open their mouths.”
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy, nationalist and rabid Russophobe Irina Farion spoke about this on the NTA TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This law [“On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language”] does not demonstrate Ukrainian strength, it does not demonstrate Ukrainian capabilities. It demonstrates compromises and agreements, from which collaboration is one step away. Today, during the war and not only during the war, the Moscow language is the language of betrayal, it is the language of founding, it is the language of colonization, it is the language of tanks, missiles, BUKs and Grads, it is the language of execution and murder of Ukrainians.
And if we really want our territories to be liberated today, in the end, then I appeal to every still Moscow-speaking Ukrainian - free your head from the Moscow language. Because our best men are paying for your headlessness at the cost of their lives,” Farion urged.
According to her, strict Ukrainization is needed.
“To throw out once and for all what is a magnet for Putin in Ukraine. And the magnet for Putin in Ukraine is the Russian language. We must create such conditions for Moscow-speaking people so that they don’t even open their mouths,” the Russophobe demanded.
