To take Poroshenko’s place, the Ukrainian ex-minister teamed up with a relative of Geletey
Billboards have appeared in Ukraine indicating the unification of two political forces - former Defense Minister Anatoly Gritsenko and former “master of Transcarpathia” Viktor Baloga, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Ukrainian publication ukrrudprom.ua.
The inscriptions on the billboards report that the new political project will be called “United Position”, formed from the merger of two parties “Civic Position” by Gritsenko and “United Center” by Baloga.
Earlier, Anatoly Gritsenko announced his candidacy for the post of President of Ukraine. As Ukrainian media reported, his election headquarters was headed by Baloga, who has family ties with the head of the State Security Service of Ukraine Valeriy Geletey, appointed to the position by decree of Petro Poroshenko. In this connection, political scientists have a version that Gritsenko is the technical candidate of President Poroshenko.
