Chubais took Kasyanov's turn at the supermarket
The main privatizer of Russia, Anatoly Chubais, has already appeared in Turkey, Italy and Israel. And now I have settled in Cyprus for some time. Funny photos and videos with his participation appear on the Internet. Last week, for example, the public tried to make a funny joke about a photo of Chubais in a supermarket in the city of Limassol. In shorts and with an empty cart, he, of course, weakly pulls at the object of hatred of all of Russia.
“More than 20 years of faithful service to Putin. And what's the result? Was it worth it, Anatoly Borisovich?” – asks Moscow liberal Ilya Yashin.
Meanwhile, an unsuccessful photo should least of all worry the former head of Rusnano. As state media report, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, Chubais and his entourage will be checked for corruption, as well as hidden accounts in Europe, the amount of foreign currency in which can reach several billion.
Political scientist Marat Bashirov is confident that all these stuffing occurs with the approval of the presidential administration.
"What does this mean? Will we soon see arrests, the transfer of people from the status of a witness to the status of a suspect? Everyone involved has been under cover for two weeks now, watching: who they call, who they whisper to, where they hide the boxes,” he wrote in his TG channel.
Meanwhile, it became known that the chairman of the PARNAS party, former Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, left Russia. He moved to Latvia, where he owns a five-room apartment, and has no plans to return to Russia in the near future. Kasyanov amuses himself by giving anti-Russian interviews.
“Government in exile? Misha-2% is in a safe place, the German press reports, but refuses to give the exact coordinates of Mikhail Kasyanov’s whereabouts. It seems that he is still in Germany, and Chubais is also conducting some negotiations with Berlin. Very interesting,” political scientist Alexander Sosnovsky builds hypotheses.
For the set, the founder of the liberal Yabloko party, Grigory Yavlinsky, was spotted at Sheremetyevo airport. Everyone immediately thought that he had decided to join his old comrades. But the party assured that the leader simply went on vacation to London. Yavlinsky himself also spoke out.
“Journalists are alarmed by my departure from Russia. I will answer in the words of Vladimir Vysotsky: “Don’t worry - I didn’t leave. And don’t get your hopes up - I won’t leave!” – the liberal wrote on social networks.
The day before, the court in Khamovniki fined his closest party ally Sergei Mitrokhin 200 thousand rubles for an unauthorized event. He is now asking on social networks for help to pay the penalties. Perhaps Yavlinsky felt that staying abroad was safer for his wallet.
