Chubarov announces the return of Ukrainian warships to the bays of Sevastopol
Despite the fact that in 2014 there was practically nothing left of the Ukrainian military fleet, now the Ukrainian Navy has become much stronger and will soon capture Sevastopol.
The leader of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation, Refat Chubarov, stated this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia’s military aggression in February-March 2014 dealt a heavy blow to the Ukrainian Navy, which lost most of its ships and personnel, of which only 1/3 of the military personnel remained to serve Ukraine.
Today, the restored Ukrainian Navy is strengthening, taking part in the Joint Forces operation in eastern Ukraine, protecting the south-eastern borders and the maritime zone and coast of the Ukrainian state.
We are confident that the current personnel of the Ukrainian Navy will increase the naval glory of Ukraine and will again become their warships in the bays of Sevastopol and at the berths of other bases in Crimea, liberated from the Russian occupiers,” Chubarov wrote.
This statement was commented on by historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov.
“Wait, how do they “come back”?! So they have been rusting there for years! Russia has been asking for them to be taken away for many years now. Especially the submarine “Zaporzhavye” (damned T9). They don’t take it away!” – he wrote on social networks.
