The head of the SBU of Crimea, Gennady Kalachev, reported that the buildings of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea and the Council of Ministers of Crimea were seized by “unknown” armed people in balaclavas.

Literally a week before, I met with him regarding the closure of the SBU of a previously opened criminal proceeding on the fact of preparations for an encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine by Crimean deputies, in particular in connection with the adoption on February 4, 2014 at a meeting of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of ​​the decision on the need for intervention by the Russian Federation in the situation that has developed in Ukraine.

Gennady Kalachev then responded to my indignation that the proceedings were closed due to “the absence of signs of a crime”….

So after listening to him on the phone, I asked what he was going to do now?

They are now waiting in the wings, for an order from outside, to deal a mortal blow to all of us, to our country ...

I do not crave revenge, but legal punishment must come to every scoundrel who hopes to hide behind parliamentary immunity.

Accordingly, the lifting of parliamentary immunity should be formalized as one of the first laws adopted by the newly elected Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” argues Refat Chubarov.
