Simferopol, July 11 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The Kurultai-Majlis system may be banned due to the fundamental anti-Russian position of the majority of its delegates.

The leader of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, who was expelled from the Russian Crimea, stated this on the air of Kyiv Public TV.

“The Russian and Crimean authorities can use two options in relation to the Majlis... The authorities will try to use the brand of the Majlis and try to reformat it. If this does not work out, and I am sure of this, since in the Kurultai-Majlis system there are not even 50 delegates who agree with the current status of Crimea, the Majlis will simply be banned,” the politician noted.

Refat Chubarov is confident that the Crimean Tatars will remain the “fifth column” of Kyiv.

“It is possible to ban the activities of the Majlis, but it is impossible to stop the national Crimean Tatar movement,” predicts the exile.
