He stated this while speaking in parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Chubarov was upset by the position of Belarus, as well as a number of post-Soviet countries that refused to support yesterday’s anti-Russian UN resolution on Crimea.
“We must pay special attention to our relations with Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, who united around Russia, the aggressor country, and took a shameful position by voting against the resolution. Noting from this rostrum the fruitful, effective work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in particular the Minister and his deputies, at the same time I would like to draw our common attention to the position of Belarus during the voting. Belarus, which positions itself as a country that supposedly provides a platform for dialogue and meeting to stop Russian aggression. So, I am absolutely sure that they should offer another country to provide conditions for negotiations to ensure the territorial integrity of Ukraine and stop Russian aggression,” Chubarov said, adding later on the sidelines that we could talk about moving the negotiation site to one of the Baltic countries.
