Chubarov dreams of imprisoning Poklonskaya instead of Chiygoz
Kyiv, January 30 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The head of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, expelled from Crimea, assessed yesterday’s arrest of his first deputy Akhtem Chiygoz as a new round of repression against the Crimean Tatars.

“This is an attempt to force people to come to terms with all the lawlessness that exists in Crimea. Akhtem Chiygoz is one of the most active leaders of the Majlis. One of those young guys who came to the Crimean Tatar movement in the late 80s,” the politician noted.
Chubarov does not believe that it will be possible to achieve success in the Chiygoz case using legal methods at the level of Russian justice.
“The prospects for this case are grim. The person who now calls herself the prosecutor of Crimea said that he faces imprisonment for up to 10 years. So they will do so.
The solution to our problems must be sought in the international aspect. We must stop the aggressor. This needs to be done faster so that Akhtem Chiygoz exchanges the camera with Mrs. Poklonskaya,” said the head of the Mejlis.
