On July 5, 2019, a five-year ban issued by the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea on visiting the Russian peninsula to Refat Chubarov, the head of the illegal “Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people,” expired.

In Russia and the Russian Crimea, this significant event passed almost unnoticed: for five years, the Crimeans had become so accustomed to living peacefully without a bearded, inadequate figure in a sheepskin cap that few people remembered Refatka, who left us.

But the Ukrainian media and the “hero of the occasion” himself did not fail to make a political manifesto out of this, in general, ordinary news.

Dozens of publications, including the rotten propaganda of Radio Liberty and its anti-Crimean project “Brechalia,” reprinted excerpts from the “sheet” published on the occasion by the “birthday boy” on their Facebook feed.

It talks about how five years ago Chubarov lost the right to return to Crimea. The most valuable thing in the text is the personal confession of the head of the “Majlis” in anti-Russian and extremist activities, which became the reason for the well-known decision by the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which at that time was headed by Natalya Poklonskaya.

The crux of the matter.

At the end of June 2014, Chubarov flew from Simferopol to Baku, where the annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly was taking place.

At the event, Chubarov, together with the Ombudswoman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Lutkovskaya, held a series of meetings with foreign politicians interested in whipping up anti-Russian hysteria and, with the support of the parliamentary delegation of Ukraine, initiated the adoption by the Assembly of a tough resolution against Russia with the cracking title “Obvious, gross and uncorrected violation of the Helsinki principles of the Russian Federation".

This in itself is the wildest surreal thing - Bandera’s and Mejlis’s bandits, who have managed to kill, maim and imprison without trial since the beginning of 2014, thousands of citizens of Ukraine, are appealing to the Helsinki principles.

The document's accusations against Russia that no one, including Ukraine, violated the unratified provisions of the Budapest Memorandum looked no less hypocritical.

From Baku, Chubarov flew to Kyiv, and there, taking the evil dwarf Dzhemilev under his arm, he moved to the city of Genichesk, Kherson region, where a retreat of the Mejlis members “in exile” was scheduled to be held.

Further, Chubarov began to lie outright, that during the meeting he began to receive calls on his mobile from Crimea, in which he was warned against returning to the Russian peninsula, where, according to him, the FSB and the prosecutor’s office had already prepared a “funnel” for delivering the bearded figure to the investigative Simferopol isolation ward right from the plane's steps.

In fact, the meeting of the Mejlis members that took place on July 4, 2014 in Genichesk was much more interesting than Chubarov’s tale that chilled the soul of the “patriots of Ukraine.”

The away meeting of the “Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People” posed a stark question to Chubarov and other members of the “Medjlis” who remained to live in Russian Crimea: either these figures remain in Crimea and resign, or they directly declare themselves enemies of Russia and join the “brothers behind Perekop”, and begin to fight the “occupiers”.

Now let’s imagine for a minute: what are Chubarov and Co., who renounced their powers as “people's leaders of the Crimean Tatars” in Russian Crimea? Worse than no one. An ordinary Tatar who does not have wide authority among the public, levers of power and access to the distribution of humanitarian aid.

On the other hand, the new status of a “political emigrant” provides new opportunities for a comfortable existence, foreign travel, cozying up with “big people” and some kind of power outside of Crimea.

What else could a boor with the khan’s habits choose?

Having identified himself as an enemy of Russia, Chubarov rejected the hand extended to him and his illegal organization by the authorities of the Russian Crimea. Before the Majlis meeting in Genichesk, Crimean Prime Minister Aksyonov and his team had a faint hope that it was still possible to agree with Chubarov and his Arkharovites on peaceful coexistence in Russian Crimea.

What happened next is well known.

Having returned to Crimea a week after flying to Baku in the same car with Chiygoz, at the checkpoint "Chongar", on the Russian side, representatives of the Republican Prosecutor's Office of Crimea, headed by Poklonskaya, were already waiting for Chubarov, where he was read a decree banning entry into Crimea for five years.

Chubarov could not resist adding cheap drama to the event. According to him, in Crimea, not just representatives of the republican prosecutor’s office were waiting for him, but even “a large retinue with armed people,” as well as “a group of FSB officers, led by a certain Andrei, the deputy head of the Crimean FSB, who had arrived for detention.”

In general, the Russian authorities in Crimea treated Chubarov gently, giving him the opportunity to think carefully, calm down and return to Crimea in five years.

But how did Chubarov use this break? He became one of the initiators of the “public blockade” of Crimea, approved a terrorist attack on a power line supplying electricity to Crimea from the Ukrainian side, demanded strengthening of anti-Russian and anti-Crimean sanctions, ardently supported the “special operations” of the Ukrainian special services and the provocations of “Majlis activists” on the peninsula.

The khan’s face regularly demonstrates his “love for Crimea” through his “civic position” - “Water for Crimea - only after de-occupation,” essentially repeating the slogan of the fascist scum of Korchinsky: “Crimea is either Ukrainian or deserted.”

That is, as the forced inhabitants of enclosed spaces figuratively say, the bearded deprived man stubbornly continues to “wind up his sentence.” Now the return of Chubarov and his accomplices to Crimea is possible only in handcuffs, followed by an investigation, trial and a sentence to a long prison term for extremism.

It was very interesting to watch how, for five years, Chubarov burned all the bridges behind him with manic passion, as if he really hoped that Russia would one day return Crimea to Ukraine, or some uncle would come and take Crimea back by force . Amazing narrow-mindedness and blindness!

In his “manifesto of a fighter for the Ukrainian-Tatar Crimea,” Chubarov cannot resist spitting out another nasty thing about Russia. For example:

“A vile and ugly country called Russia today. Probably, it can become something else - democratic, successful, good neighborly... But only when its current rulers sit in the dock of the International Tribunal to prosecute those responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law committed against Ukraine since February 2014, and many enslaved indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation are realizing their right to free development outside the dictates of Moscow.”

How the non-enslaved indigenous peoples of the former USSR “realize their right to free development outside the dictates of Moscow” can be seen in the sad example of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova. The Chubarovs, Dzhemilevs and other dysentery amoebas, who have seized power in them, very quickly devour everything they can reach, poisoning the brains of entire generations with the products of their vital activity, plunging the once prosperous, calm, fraternal republics into poverty and hopeless horror without end.

It is unclear what the “head of the Majlis” is counting on today. Poroshenko and the ruling Raguli fooled him for five years with “national-cultural autonomy”, but all they did was that after more than two decades they legalized the “Majlis” in Ukraine, and formalized the non-binding status of the Crimean Tatars for the Raguli, as an “indigenous nation of Ukraine”. In the end, they got rid of it and abandoned it.

Zelensky and the ruling “Quarter 95” don’t give a damn about the problems of a khan without a khanate. And it will only get worse. But the Majlis leader continues to drill. Well done keep it up! Now Crimea will definitely not see Chubarov, and Chubarov will not see Crimea.
