The head of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, who was expelled from Crimea, reported this on his Facebook page.
“There is every reason to believe that Akhtem, if kept in a pre-trial detention center, is in solitary confinement.
It is obvious that the Investigative Committee and directly the investigator Azizov Bulat Ravilyevich (Kazan Tatar) are tasked with suppressing the will of Akhtem Chiygoz, and inflicting even more severe suffering on his family and friends by terrorizing them with the knowledge of Akhtem,” the politician wrote.
Let us recall that during mass clashes under the walls of the Crimean parliament on February 26, supporters of the Majlis and Ukrainian nationalists used military gas. Simferopol residents Valentina Korneva and Igor Postny died.
