The overwhelming majority of Crimean residents want to return to Ukraine and support the blockade carried out by the Mejlis and the Right Sector, Verkhovna Rada deputy Refat Chubarov said on the ICTV channel.

“Whatever the thought is on any occasion, if it does not coincide with the official point of view of the Kremlin, they cannot open their mouth,” he began in response to the presenter’s question whether they support the blockade in Crimea itself.

“The overwhelming majority of people hope that this action will contribute to their expectations... Today, that part of the Crimean residents who ran through the Crimean streets with Russian tricolors in February-March, they are very disappointed... I mean the part that is called cotton wool... Those who want return to Ukraine, the vast majority of them,” Chubarov announced.
