The head of the Mezhdlis, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Refat Chubarov said this on the air of the “Issue of National Security” program, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the Ukrainian politician, government members are afraid of responsibility and are waiting until they receive a direct order.
“The government’s position is, to put it mildly, surprising. If we talk about the approval stage, to be honest, it is blocked... It seems to me that our government is accustomed to two things, but they are interconnected - no one wants to take responsibility and no one starts working until there is a fist slamming on the table, although from the Prime Minister. They are simply avoiding their responsibility until there are direct instructions that this needs to be done,” Chubarov said.
