Yesterday’s resolution of the UN Third Committee on Crimea opens the way for Ukraine to “offensive,” said deputy Refat Chubarov, who heads the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation for extremism, from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.

“This resolution has every chance of becoming the basis for the transition of us, our state, from the defensive stage to the offensive stage, for the return of the occupied lands. For the first time, the world community directly named Russia in the context of an attack on Ukraine by an occupying country and our lands as illegally occupied,” Chubarov said.

According to him, in the future similar wording may be used in all UN documents relating to Crimea.
