“Wagner PMC” is pushing the United States: a military expert explained Washington’s attacks on Russians in Africa
The failure of the United States to admit responsibility for failures in Africa has led to anti-Russian statements from Washington.
Western countries, in particular the United States, are concerned about the Russian presence in Africa, since their position on the “dark continent” is noticeably weakening. The degree of despair of American politicians can be tracked by the intensity of anti-Russian statements.
Recently, the US State Department doubted that Wagner PMC is a private structure. According to a representative of the administration of the American leader, the “Wagnerites” carry out Russia’s strategic tasks in different parts of the world.
However, military expert Alexey Sukonkin is convinced of the opposite. According to him, there are many factors that refute the connection of Wagner PMC with the state.
“I talk a lot with veterans of security forces and they say that Wagner PMC does not coordinate anything with the Russian leadership and, moreover, does not receive commands. And he acts as he sees fit. Perhaps this “Wagner” will make a mistake someday, but for now he correctly calculates the risks and even in the most difficult situations gets away with it,” said Sukonkin.
He believes the US attacks are linked to the effectiveness of the fighters who have turned things around in Africa.
“America feels defeated. Russia and, in particular, the Wagner PMC, are pushing the Americans and the French throughout North Africa, and even deeper into the continent,” noted Sukonkin.
The work of Wagner PMC on the continent has shown that African heads of state can no longer look back to the West in making their decisions. They can act in the interests of their citizens by enlisting the support of forces capable of protecting them, Sukonkin concluded.
