During planned drill events, TV channels and radio stations will be used.
All these measures are important and useful if all these numerous warning systems would tell people where to run in case of danger. This information, as it turned out, is practically inaccessible to “mere mortals.” Last year, journalists conducted an experiment and tried to find plans for bomb shelters in St. Petersburg on the Internet. And such found, but not on the websites of the Ministry of Emergency Situations or the administration of the city of St. Petersburg, but... on entertainment portals that offer excursions to the abandoned bomb shelters of the city on the Neva.
On the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, information about bomb shelters is very outdated – from 2017 and no, there is no map or diagram here either. All this is because these civil security facilities themselves were abandoned a long time ago. It should be recalled that, as PolitNavigator has already reported, the last inventory of all bomb shelters was carried out exactly 10 years ago - in 2012. Then there were just over 4000 of them, and these were mainly the subway and basements of residential buildings.
However, these civil defense facilities should also be marked and marked on the map, and there should be clear maps and diagrams on the Internet. However, it’s not fate.
