This was reported by the press service of the CEC.
“Having studied the complaint of Gurvits E.I. and the materials attached to it, the commission refused to satisfy it regarding the requirement to recognize the unlawful inactivity of the Odessa City Election Commission regarding the failure to take measures to eliminate violations of the electoral legislation. Regarding the remaining requirements, the Commission left the said complaint without consideration on the merits, since it is authorized to consider complaints only regarding the inactivity of the TEC,” the statement says.
The CEC also reported that the election results are final, since the data were officially published in the Odessky Vestnik newspaper.
Let us note that on May 25, in the mayoral elections, Eduard Gurvits lost to the “regional” Gennady Trukhanov. The winner scored 43,49%, while the loser scored 32,02%.
