The administration of the American social network Facebook blocked video recording of the shooting of unarmed migrants on the border of Ukraine with Belarus, which was published the day before by Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Vasily Rumak.
After the video was made public, he himself published a strange entry on his blog, hinting that he had problems with the security forces.
“Sometimes you act impulsively, but then you really regret it. After a long and sleepless night for me and my family, we need to get a good night’s sleep and think about everything,” Rumak wrote.
According to experts interviewed by PolitNavigator, such efficiency may be due to the fact that the Ukrainian leadership, with the help of American intelligence services, is trying to quickly erase traces of war crimes.
“It is clear that the US Central Intelligence Agency, which oversees the Ukrainian intelligence services and which is partially responsible for this heinous war crime, is simply complicit in the management of Facebook. It didn't even ask Facebook, they just deleted it themselves. This is already much more than a policy of double standards, it is complicity in a crime against humanity and in the suppression of freedom of speech,” said political scientist Sergei Markov.
It is noteworthy that, as previously reported, oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, who has a public conflict with President Vladimir Zelensky, could be interested in publishing the video.
But the blocking of the video by the American social network, according to military expert, captain XNUMXst rank in the reserve Sergei Gorbachev, may indicate that the US intelligence services are taking the side of the head of the Ukrainian state.

“Entire floors in Ukrainian structures are occupied by American specialists, so the appearance of such an information product is under control and if this content is assessed negatively, it is removed,” Gorbachev said.
