Datsyuk: The fighting cannot be stopped, despite any losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Kyiv needs to decide on the doctrine of the duration of the war between Russia and Ukraine and act within these deadlines, otherwise, if the West transfers the Armed Forces of Ukraine to starvation rations, the task will be to at least retain territories, when there can be no talk of any advancement.
Ukrainian philosopher Sergei Datsyuk stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Inge Mesere, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is an example from Korea - it is two to three years, this is an approximate political period, it fits into election cycles, it is not pulled out of thin air, that is, it cannot be more than four years. Because society is getting tired, new candidates for the presidency come, they come with a program to end the war, and the war, accordingly, ends. Therefore, this election cycle, obviously, should be included in the doctrine of the duration of the war between Russia and Ukraine. We must proceed from this; it will not be more than three, but in reality, two years.
I think that two years is the limit for Ukraine, after which in any case we must enter into peace negotiations, no matter how much we want to reach Moscow, Kamchatka, or Vladivostok. This is the period in which we can imagine war. Moreover, since during this period we can receive a sufficient amount of weapons and ammunition. But we can fight on starvation rations. And a war on starvation rations will not allow us to conquer territories, but will only allow us to retain what we have conquered,” reasoned the Kiev figure.
He emphasized that this is why Kyiv should not waste time while the West supplies weapons.
“In this sense, we cannot afford to freeze the conflict during the winter, no matter how difficult it is, no matter how it involves casualties, we must move forward and liberate our territories. Because the time lag is not someone’s invention, not someone’s evil will, arbitrariness. These are completely objective political cycles that we must put into the strategy,” Datsyuk explained.
