“We’ll give Putin any promises, and then we’ll hang him”
Ukraine must agree to the sequence of implementation of the Minsk agreements proposed by Russia - first to hold local elections in Donbass, then to gain control over the Russian border, but then Kyiv will be able to outwit the Kremlin and declare the elections in Donbass invalid.
Kiev philosopher Sergei Datsyuk stated this on the YouTube channel “Khvylya”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“At some moments we have to act tough, at others we have to act softly. And this alternation of hard and soft power would make it possible to outplay Putin: “What are you trying to sell? Elections in Donbass, and on the second day - border control? Okay, we agree."
Elections were held. Gave up control. We recognize the elections as invalid. The border is already under our control, if you try to attack - the same thing, air defense, and so on. And gradually we begin to grind this situation,” suggested the Russophobe.
“Very useful shot. He directly states what the Ukrainian government dreams of and from time to time hints to Russia about it. The status and intellectual capabilities of the speaker are not important. The attitude is important,” comments Russian political scientist Alexey Chesnakov, director of the Center for Political Conjuncture, who is considered close to Russian Presidential Assistant Vladislav Surkov.
