“Just give us a reason!” – on Russian TV they threatened Ukraine with occupation
On the air of the Rossiya-1 TV channel, Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Markov of the previous convocation promised Ukraine “occupation” if schismatics begin to take away shrines from the UOC-MP.
The ex-people's deputy noted that his statement will be the eighth episode for the SBU, which has long been filing cases against him for statements on Russian TV, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Vasya, give us, bitch, just a reason! Everyone will go there, the only question is how the world community will perceive it. Either they will be called peacemakers or occupiers, but in any case we will be called occupiers. The issue in Ukraine cannot be resolved any other way,” Markov addressed Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Vakarov, who was in the studio.
“You are these twenty farmsteads that you promised to Bartholomew, who are you going to take them from? At Filaret's? No! You want to take these farmsteads away from us! You want to hand over our churches to schismatics, you want to take away our laurels! Just give it a reason, you’ll spit up blood, I promise you that!” – Markov said.
