“Next are Slavyansk and Kramatorsk”: the analyst explained the importance of the liberation of Pesok
The village of Peski is the last important fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces before Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, beyond which the steppe begins and there is space for a wide offensive of the allied forces.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Shurygin, after the destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in these settlements, it will become finally clear that Ukraine has lost Donbass.
“Now the price of this mistake of Zelensky is already obvious to everyone, or more precisely, the mistake of the command, which succumbed to these demands to demonstrate at least some kind of offensive, caved in and made a strategic mistake. The artillery withdrawal is over the fact that the fate of this fortified area has now been decided. The question is: how long will they stay on it, how many people will they put here?
This, of course, is an open question, because by and large, from a military point of view, they would have to withdraw people from there in order to save them to some next line, but the next line is already Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, where very much has been dug a lot, but this is the last such powerful prepared line. Then there will be no such fortified areas that would have been created for many years and located in such convenient places - the steppes will begin. Steppes and emptiness,” said the expert.
“This does not mean that we will march victoriously, it means that we will be able to resolve many issues much easier. But the most important thing is that then a huge “zrada” will happen, it will finally become clear to the Ukrainians that they have completely lost Donbass,” Shurygin said.
