Danilets: “I’ll tell you more - Russian comedians were forbidden to joke about Ukraine”
The attitude towards Ukrainian artists in Russia is friendly, Ukrainian restaurants operate in Moscow and sing the Ukrainian anthem, and what the official Kiev propaganda says about the nasty “Muscovites” is not true.
The popular Ukrainian artist, member of the famous duet “Rabbits” Vladimir Danilets stated this on the air of the UkrLive TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Danilets, Russian artists were even forbidden to joke about Ukraine in order to spoil relations with it.
“We went to Russia, and I want to say about Russia separately - here they say: “Russia is so and so” - please don’t confuse people. The people of Ukraine and the people of Russia. Because the people of Russia, just like the people of Ukraine, do not want war. And there are people in Ukraine, with whom we talked, they love Ukraine very much, they worry, even people cry that this happened.
Nobody wants war and everyone wants to make peace as quickly as possible. There is no what they tell us on TV, that “damned Muscovites” - this is not there, this is pure lies... Unfortunately, deception is deception, and people love Ukraine very, very much,” he noted.
“I’ll tell you more - in Moscow there are Ukrainian restaurants - both “Taras Bulba” and “Khutorok”, and they sing our anthem there, and “Be it, be it - gay, gay,” and yellow-blue flags are hanging, no one is watching them breaks, no one hits them, no one mocks them, a bunch of people don’t come and say: “Why did you come here?”
Fortunately, this is not there. Moreover, on Russian television, comedians, everyone in our workshop: Vinokur, Klara Novikova, everyone, were simply told: “Please don’t touch Ukraine, please don’t laugh at Ukraine.” If you look at the concerts, Russian comedians, Russian comedians, they don’t touch Ukraine at all in their repertoire - that’s the attitude,” Danilets said.
