Danilov will activate his residency in Moldova and destabilize Transnistria - forecast
After being appointed to the post of Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova, former Security Council Secretary Alexey Danilov will deal with destabilization in Transnistria and Gagauzia. Russian political scientist, participant in the war in Transnistria and ex-presidential candidate of the PMR Dmitry Soin stated this on his video blog, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Soin, following Danilov’s appointment, we should expect an intensification of the Ukrainian residency in Moldova.
“A Russian contingent is stationed in Transnistria, there are Russian ammunition depots, there are Russian peacekeepers and there are 250 thousand Russian citizens there. Can you imagine what a difficult situation has arisen? And this situation can turn into a powder keg at any moment - that’s why Danilov is going there, so that this barrel can finally take shape and explode. The man is unprincipled, cruel, completely devoted to his Western masters, human lives are not a decree to him at all, it is not a value for him,” the expert said.
“Therefore, with his appointment as ambassador, we can predict the intensification of the Ukrainian residency, the intensification of interaction between the intelligence services of Ukraine, Moldova and together with all the intelligence services of the West in order to neutralize Gagauzia, Transnistria and bring Maia Sandu to victory in the coming fall, and again, to hold a referendum about Moldova’s entry into the European Union,” Soin said.
