Data on the passage of Ukrainian Navy boats into the Sea of Azov, which was reported by the local portal Kerch.com.ru, were not confirmed.
Vesti-Krym correspondents on duty along the strait clarify that the barge that blocked the fairway cleared the route for passage not of Ukrainians, but of Russian border boats.
After this, the barge again blocked the passage under the Crimean Bridge. Russian military aircraft continue to patrol the skies.
“The bridge is in working order, the cars are moving. The passage under the arches is blocked by a dry cargo ship, it is in place. Aviation patrolled, there were a pair of Ka-52s and a pair of Su-25s. My assessment: It looks like the Sea of Azov is closed to the Ukrainian military,” Oleg Kryuchkov, head of the Crimean NTV bureau, reports from the spot.
