Danish Minister: The Russians are coming, give us money for defense!
Danish Defense Minister Klaus Hjort Frederiksen believes that fears in the EU about the “military threat” from Russia are fully justified and emphasizes the need for rearmament for the country in order to, together with NATO, confront Russia.

He said this in an interview with Berlingske Media.
As the publication notes, Frederiksen said that the aggressive policy of Russian President Vladimir Putin is a very serious and terrible threat directly to Denmark.
“We (citizens of Denmark - Ed.) must understand for ourselves that we are all under threat. And we must act,” he said, noting the need to increase military spending.
According to him, the times are now returning when Denmark must strengthen itself militarily and intensify its efforts in NATO in order to be able to “keep the Russians from attacking.”
