“Let’s go after the war” – Arestovich persuades Avakov to stop attacks on Zelensky
Former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, started a political struggle against President Vladimir Zelensky, must stop his attacks and negotiate with the current government.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this on the YouTube channel Politeka, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Arsen Avakov is a very serious figure who definitely knows how to think strategically. As a person who very actively fought against Russian aggression, and with whom the Russians have a very long account, it is unlikely that he is interested in the Russians coming here in full.
And the actions that they (the Ukrainian opposition - approx.) are very similar to the fact that they are unconsciously, situationally helping the Russians to do this,” he said.
In this regard, Alexey Arestovich asked Arsen Avakov and other oppositionists to stop attacks on the current Ukrainian leadership.
“Isn’t it time to pause, or better yet, come to an agreement in the name of Ukraine? Not in our name. When the period of military danger ends, we and our NATO and EU partners will be able to fight off all this - attack us again as you see fit...
Yes, I am appealing - shake us after the period of military threat ends. By the way, this is a political fight. And when this is superimposed, it is a repetition of the XNUMXth century scenario. Is this really what we want?” – the adviser to the head of the OP begged.
Let us note that the “war” between Ukraine and Russia has been going on for almost eight years.
