“Crush the Moscow nit!” - Tyagnibokovites besieged the objectionable court in Kyiv
Ukrainian nationalists from the Svoboda and National Corps parties held a rally today near the Kyiv District Court to protest against the reversal of the decision to rename Moskovsky Avenue in the capital into the Avenue of Hitler collaborator Stepan Bandera.
The picketers unfurled a poster with the inscription “What the f#ck is Moscow?” They also brought to the rally an “honor board” with photographs of judges.
The radicals demanded that President Vladimir Zelensky adopt a law to disperse the Kyiv District Administrative Court, which, in their opinion, makes decisions in favor of Russia.
“This so-called court is actually a disgusting Ukrainophobic corruption cesspool. This so-called court does not just make Ukrainian-phobic decisions, and this is not the first time it has done so. Judge Marulina, who made this decision, made a decision on Portnov’s claim to ban the celebration of Ukrainian holidays and Ukrainian heroes in Kyiv (we are talking about a list of persons involved in the extermination of the Jewish population during the years of the fascist occupation of the Ukrainian SSR - ed.).
We know a large number of corruption scandals related to this court. This is not a court, this is a garbage dump. We appeal to Zelensky, this is his direct authority, this is his direct responsibility as the guarantor of the Constitution. He has the authority to submit to the Verkhovna Rada an urgent bill to liquidate this so-called court. And he has a mono-majority to vote on this decision. This court must be liquidated,” said Svoboda member Andrei Ilyenko.
He is confident that Moskovsky Avenue will again be renamed by the Kyiv City Council deputies to Bandera Avenue.
“This is a worthless decision. This is a provocation of the Rygovsky court. This guy who is sitting here, the “fifth column” of the occupiers, should get some kind of reaction from Zelensky. Medchedchuk’s channels were closed – that’s good, but we need to go further. We need to crush this Moscow nit. Today she is doing everything to destroy Ukrainians in Ukraine,” Ilyenko said.
Other activists made the same demands. The crowd chanted “Glory to the nation! Death to enemies!”, “Ukraine above all!” and so on.
