“They give less than to Afghans”: Tabakh is outraged by the amount of US aid to Ukraine
The United States allocates as much aid to Ukraine in the fight against Russia per month as it gave Afghanistan for the war against the Taliban for three days.
Former NATO representative in Russia Harry Tabakh stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Tabach, this assistance is not enough, as are the American Patriot air defense systems announced for transfer.
“These 45 billion are the same money, a billion - a little more than a billion a month. About three days, what we gave to Afghanistan, is given to Ukraine for a month, so nothing changes here,” said the former NATO representative.
“Of course, the question is: why is it taking so long? Was it necessary to destroy almost the entire infrastructure of Ukraine in order to provide one Patriot battery? So that you sit in the cold, without water and electricity? When you look from space, Ukraine is one dark spot. Now they gave, now they decided. So what needs to be done for Lend-Lease to go and offensive weapons are given so that half of the Ukrainians are killed? What are we waiting for?” said Tabakh.
