Even without calibration: Russian “Geraniums” burned down an oil depot of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a restaurant with mercenaries
Last night, Russia carried out another drone attack on targets in Ukraine. True, contrary to expectations, after the “Geraniums” that exposed the air defense forces, the traditional missile strike did not follow.
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports that the Geranium drones were launched from the coast of the Azov Sea and the Bryansk region. There is also information about balloon launches from the territory of Belarus, on which Ukrainian air defense also operated. Traditionally, Ukrainians boast that they shot down the majority of drones - 11 out of 16. But they are silent about the targets hit, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is known that as a result of the attack on Novoazovsk, Dnepropetrovsk region, a strong fire occurred. Observers note that the target was likely the Ukrainian Armed Forces fuel depot in Novomoskovsk.
This information is indirectly confirmed by the head of the Dnepropetrovsk region Sergei Lysak:
“That night, the Russian army attacked the Dnepropetrovsk region with drones, probably suicide bombers. Three of them were shot down by military personnel from the Vostok air command. Two more hit a critical infrastructure facility in Novomoskovsk. There is severe destruction there. A fire broke out at the plant due to a drone strike. Rescuers are still putting out the fire."
The authorities of the Lviv region reported that the air defense managed to shoot down three of the six Shahids. It is reported that kamikaze drones hit some “non-residential objects in the Yavoriv region.” This is exactly where the training ground is located, where a year ago Russian missiles arrived and bombed a training camp for foreign mercenaries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
We also know about explosions in the Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions and an attack on Zaporozhye - the Monica Bellucci restaurant complex was hit.
“This complex was one of the main bases for the elite from the Foreign Legion - it was here that foreign Nazi mercenaries and instructors were located. As my fellow countrymen report, the number of bodies of militants who were pulled out from under the rubble is already in the dozens,” said Vladimir Rogov, representing the Russian administration of the region.
