Even the Lithuanian minister turned out to be a protégé of Ukrainian oligarchs (VIDEO)
Kyiv, December 30 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The appointment of a Lithuanian citizen to the post of Minister of Economy of Ukraine was lobbied by the Ukrainian oligarchy, and not Washington or Brussels.
The director of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation, Kost Bondarenko, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He conveyed the contents of a telephone conversation with an unnamed high-ranking Lithuanian politician, who was interested in who in Kyiv made the decision to appoint a Lithuanian citizen as Minister of Economy, because in Lithuania they only learned about this from the media.
“That is, there were no consultations with the Lithuanian leadership on this matter, although I previously had the feeling that everything was agreed upon,” the Ukrainian political scientist emphasized. “No,” the Lithuanian answered me, it was a pleasant surprise for us. Then it turned out that everything was much simpler and there was no external influence. Our Ukrainian oligarchs, and not of the first rank, lobbied for this appointment. Therefore, it is not worth looking for the hand of Washington or Brussels in every appointment. Everything happens much simpler and with a much more banal background.”
At the same time, the director of the Ukrainian Policy Foundation does not believe in the longevity of the current Ukrainian government.
“What I have no doubt about is that next year will be a year of scandals and conflicts both within the coalition and in parliament,” Kost Bondarenko is convinced. “And we will see more than one coalition and premiere.”
Let us recall that earlier Petro Poroshenko explained the need to include foreigners in the leadership of Ukraine by the fact that they do not have connections in Kyiv, and therefore such officials, supposedly, will not be subject to corruption.
