Even the Lithuanian Russophobe cannot promise Ukraine membership in NATO
NATO is unlikely to accept Ukraine into its alliance at its summit in Vilnius in June.
Member of the Lithuanian Seimas Emanuelis Zingeris stated this in an interview with Kyiv propagandist Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are preparing for the NATO summit. We are waiting for Mr. Zelensky. This will be very important when Sweden and Finland become members (I think the Turks will agree), after that all eyes are on Kyiv. I cannot promise that you will be accepted, but a giant step in the NATO umbrella system will be taken here in Vilnius in mid-July. I guarantee you this,” Zingeris said.
Earlier, the deputy head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Andrei Sibiga, said that Kyiv was awaiting a response from NATO in Vilnius to its application to join the Alliance.
