Even Lithuania admitted that Ukraine should not even dream of EU membership
The situation in Europe is such that Ukraine has no prospect of EU membership, and this does not motivate Kyiv to carry out reforms.

Andrius Kubilius, a member of the Lithuanian Seimas and former Prime Minister of Lithuania, stated this at a round table in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, the current situation in the EU is that Europe is in crisis. And it would be naive to think that Europe could offer the prospect of membership to Ukraine and other Eastern Partnership countries. If there is no such opportunity to provide the prospect of EU membership to Ukraine, then what? There are great achievements, there is a visa-free regime, but in my opinion this will not withstand the motivation for reforms of both Ukrainian society and the political elite,” he said.
